To the Czech’s Land of “Burke Williams”: Karlovy Vary

Blogged the morning away with Teah, packed up our room, grabbed a bite to eat, and headed out from Prague on a bus bound for Karlovy Vary. The town is Czech Republic’s version of Aspen or Sun Valley, but on a much less yuppity scale. We weren’t the only ones making the trip as we were informed that the hypochondriacs from Germany, Austria, and especially Russia are known for making the pilgrimage to the town’s many hot springs.

Checked into our beautiful hotel around 3 p.m. and were quite pleased with the huge, fancy street frontage room they put us in equipped with a nice wooden rocking crib.

After settling in, we cruised the streets and stumbled across a local who directed us to an Indian restaurant for dinner. The food was outstanding and the tiramisu that we treated ourselves to on our way home topped the day off just right.
