Gule-Gule Turkey

Our day began with a short run and a hearty breakfast in our hotel’s garden. Then we hitched a ride with one of the owners of our hotel to a nearby beach that he was passing by on his way to the local farmer’s market. We posted up under an umbrella and took in some nice rays through the early afternoon.
After receiving our daily dosage of Vitamin D, we took a dolmus to a large city nearby to fit in some shopping before leaving Turkey. We haggled for a few items and stumbled across the bustling farmer’s market as we headed towards the bus station to make our way back to Sirince.

The remainder of our day was spent chatting with locals and eating some more of the delicious cuisine. Of particular remembrance was meeting an old vendor that is known for his hand-carved wooden cooking utensils. We enjoyed chatting his ear off, talking about his trade, and snapping a few pictures with him for memories. Our time in Turkey has been amazing and we’re sad to say our trip to Greece tomorrow means the inevitable return home is only a few days away.
