A Relaxing Day in Oludeniz

Our morning started with a nice run along the boardwalk and a scrumptious complimentary breakfast at our hotel’s rooftop terrace. Then we headed out to find a minivan to take us to the nearby beach town of Oludeniz… known for it’s blue waters and scenic landscape.
After our 30-minute ride over to Oludeniz, we found a comfy spot along the beach of the “Blue Lagoon” National Park that is preserved as one of the nation’s environmental treasures. We enjoyed the warm weather, clear blue water, and beautiful scenery that surrounded us. Sam particularly liked the topless “scenery” that seemed to be in every direction from our location.
We spent a few hours taking in the sun at the Blue Lagoon and headed back toward our hotel in Fethiye. Our lounging continued poolside before washing up and hitting a nearby lounge for happy hour. For dinner we wandered the streets and eventually found a non-tourist spot to enjoy some local cuisine.

Our night was topped off with a bottle of wine on the rooftop terrace at our hotel.  We decided to indulge in a banana split and headed off to bed relatively early as we have an early morning bus ride to another region of Turkey.
