Saying "I Do"

The wedding went off without a hitch. The girls of course started their day bright and early with hair and makeup at 8:30.  By this time Sam had already combed the Santa Barbara coast traveling down to Ventura in search of some waves.  While the surf Gods were not on his side, good grinds were had as he enjoyed a tasty breakfast burrito with brothers Zach and Brian and buddies Matt and Kirk.  Thanks for joining me you guys… sorry for the lack of surf.

Photographer Jim (www.breenfilm.com) and his assistant Tommy were quite the sports throughout the day.  They began with the ladies and kept going strong until after the last dance.  Thanks to Jim and Tommy for all their hard work.

Steve & Rosie Semingson picked Jennifer and her parents up in the Packard and headed over to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for some pre wedding photographs.  The Packard ran beautifully throughout the day and it was a great addition to the wedding.  Thank you Steve and Rosie for letting us use the car and for Steve working hard to make sure it purred like a kitten.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather.  From dawn to dusk we were blessed with sunny skies, comfortable temperatures and beautiful scenery.   After the ceremony, the fun continued at the zoo where Jennifer nearly lost her veil to the giraffe and Sam had to sit through his four “best men” roasting him during their speeches.

The night was a hit with lots of tasty eats, drinks, and plenty of dancing to burn the calories from the monolithic ice cream sandwiches.  We are grateful for the opportunity to share our special day with our closest friends and family.  Thank you everybody for making our day so memorable.
