Started the night out late after an afternoon siesta and headed over to get some tapas and wine. We are definitely on Spanish time, as we didn't leave for dinner until 10:00. The restaurant/bar was beautifully located in front of St. Maria del Mar Church and we were lucky enough to snag one of the courtyard tables as we enjoyed our dinner. While enjoying our cheese, almonds, salami and bread, along with our wine of course, we met some French locals. Our new friends, Jonathon and Nico, were excited to hear about our recent wedding and wanted to help us celebrate by buying some champagne. Before we new it, we were all sharing our third bottle of champagne, our 2 friends turned into 8, and the bar was closing so we headed over to a house party nearby.
After having some drinks at the house party, and making new facebook friends, we all jumped in cabs to go over to an underground disco party in the warehouse district of town. As we headed home a couple hours later, we were pleased with the unexpected course the night took and were excited to have experienced a night out like the locals do it.
